Sunday 16th February - walk * – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods and cold.

The day started clouded with a cold wind blowing in from the east with the temperature not getting above 4 degrees all day:( So in no hurry to get up, nice in bed with the electric blanket with a cuppa and a blueberry pancake, we know how to live! The sun then started to make an appearance so I got up to do my exercises helping Mag make a huge shepherds pie too, that will last us for 4 days! Then after lunch we forced ourselves out for our daily walk, it seemed quiet nice on the walk down to the seafront but things were different when we reached the prom with the onshore breeze being very chilly, we had had enough just past the Spa Theatre and headed through the gardens to the cliff top and home for a warming cuppa with a hot water bottle. Things are set to get milder next week by the end of the week it will hopefully reach double figures and I might even get a couple of days of windsurf foiling which will be nice as its been poor for months now:(
